Pictures, videos and PowerPoint
Add pictures, videos, PowerPoint presentations and PDFs to the service, and use your own backgrounds.
Add media to the service
- In the Service tab, click + Media.
- Choose one or more files: pictures, videos, PowerPoint presentations or PDFs.
- Each file becomes an item in the service. Presentations and PDFs become one slide per page; step through them with →.

| Videos | MP4, WebM, MOV and others | Formats Windows cannot play smoothly are converted to MP4 once, with a progress bar. |
| PowerPoint | PPTX, PPT, PPSX, PPS | Needs Microsoft PowerPoint on this computer, which exports each slide as a picture. Without PowerPoint, save the presentation as PDF and add the PDF. |

Media is copied into VerseLuma, so the service still works if the original file is moved or the USB stick is removed.
Playing videos
Send a video live and it plays on the projector with sound. Use the play-from-start button to restart it. While a video is on preview it stays silent.
Your own backgrounds
To use a picture or a looping video behind the words, add it in Design → Background → + Add picture or video. See Design.
